Community Meetings in Georgia
These meetings are informal get-togethers designed to educate
consumers and the public about the Certified Professional Midwife (CPM);
and to prepare for Legislative Public Hearings. Members of GFOM's Core
Group present information about the CPM and about preparing testimony.
If you are interested in hosting a Community Meeting, please contact
GFOM for more information.
For
more information about writing letters and/or testimony, please visit
Citizens for Midwifery (CfM)
and check out the "Anyone
Can Write to their Legislator" section. NARM has also
made their Legislative Handbook available on the web. You can
download the manual from their webpage.
