Georgia Friends of Midwives (GFOM): Georgia Friends of Midwives is a consumer group that advocates the preservation and expansion of safe, accessible and affordable childbirth alternatives, including the informed choice of a midwife-attended birth in the home setting.

The North America Registry of Midwives (NARM): The North American Registry of Midwives (NARM) is an international certification agency whose mission is to establish and administer certification for the credential “Certified Professional Midwife” (CPM). NARM is committed to identifying standards and practices that reflect the excellence and diversity of the independent midwifery community in order to set the standard for North American midwifery.

The Midwives Alliance of North America (MANA): MANA is the only professional organization uniting and representing all North American midwives, inclusive of all midwifery educational backgrounds and practice styles.

Citizens for Midwifery (CfM): CfM is the national consumer-based group working to provide information and resources that promote the local midwife, as well as midwives and midwifery care across the country!

The Big Push for Midwives: The Big Push for Midwives Campaign helps to empower mothers and families who are advocating for the safe and legal access of Certified Professional Midwives (CPMs) in their states.

American College of Nurse Midwives (ACNM): The mission of ACNM is to promote the health and well-being of women and infants within their families and communities through the development and support of the profession of midwifery as practiced by certified nurse-midwives, and certified midwives.
